Brief History[]
introduced by Tonka in 1964 Has 90% steel toys, Toughest on the market The only other brands at the time were buddy L, Nylint, Structo (etc). Though Tonka has over the years loss some metal parts they still remain one of the toughest toys on the market, Through out the years a bunch of models have been introduced and discontinued.
Collectability[]
Tonka trucks despite just being toy trucks actually have some value, If you find some older style trucks with metal frame and cab they can pick up a minimum of 5 bucks in any condition. Some discontinued models can be worth around 20-100 bucks depending on condition like the Large version of the Bulldozer from the 80's
